Rooms/Food

Broholm Manor House comprises 15 rooms, which have all been decorated with antique furniture. To maintain the special atmosphere that prevails at Broholm Manor House you will find no television, radio and telephone in the rooms. All the suites and rooms are different, entirely depending on which historical personages left their mark on them. All meeting rooms are equipped with standard audio equipment. Dinner shall be served in the Chinese Dinning Room or in the Thorvaldsen room. Here you will finde space for up to 110 persons (only chairs) or up to 90 persons seated around tables. Allow Broholm’s manor house setting to provide the perfect venue for your next event, where those participating can, of course, move freely about the historical rooms and relish an atmosphere which often inspires new ideas and creativity.

Broholm Manor House has its own restaurant and chef. The restaurant is used for both parties, meetings and in general for guests staying overnight.

History
Broholm has been a meeting place since 1326. Here, in safety behind the wide moats, the proud and enterprising families of Ulfeld, Fikkesen, von Mehlen, Brockenhuus, Skeel and Sehested met with the other powers in the kingdom. Broholm as it stands today dates “only” as far back as 1642, but anyone visiting the manor will be able to sense the spirit left behind by seven centuries of habitation: the history of Denmark, the culture, the gallery of family portraits, the architecture and the art, and one can sense the lives and presence of previous generations seeping out of the gilt leather and wood panelling.
