Rooms/Food

Lerchenborg Castle comprises 8 newly renovated rooms with own bath in the south wing of the castle and 5 newly renovated rooms with 2 shared bathrooms in the guesthouse. The rooms in the south wing of the castle are 4 rooms on the ground floor and 4 rooms at 1st. floor. All rooms in the castle have television and free mini bar with beer/soft drinks. The rooms in the guesthouse do not have television and mini bar. Meeting and seminars can be arranged in the Great Hall and group meetings in the lovely living rooms e.g. the garden room with direct access to the park. Free internet access in all rooms and meeting places at the castle. No internet access in the guesthouse.

Breakfast is served from 7.30 a.m. to 9 a.m. in the café. Lunch and dinner in relation to meeting and seminar shall also be served in the café. For larger events the heated stable can be used. You will find possibility for all kind of outdoor activities in the park and close to Kalundborg Fjord you will find the privately owned airfield.

Leisure Activities

Forest: Lerchenborg Castle has its own forest and of the total area of 650 hectare field and forest, the park and buildings take up app. 20 hectare.
Park/garden: Lerchenborg Castle has a baroque garden, leading your way to the park. The park is dominated by 200 year old lime trees. The park and the buildings take up app. 20 hectare. In 1987 the baroque garden was completed by a water fountain - a modern piece of art.
Running tracks: The surroundings at Lerchenborg Castle invite you for a lovely run. Plan your own trip and explore the surroundings while exercising.
Walking tracks: Lerchenborg Castle is situated in beautiful surroundings and walks in the park & by the sea are abundant.
Water (sea, lakes etc.): Lerchenborg Castle is situated on Asnæs - surrounded by water on both sides. On one side you will find Kalundborg Fjord. At the end of the park you will moreover find a lake.
History
Lerchenborg, entailed estate of the Danish Lerche-Lerchenborg family, was erected in 1743-53 by General Christian Lerche. The main building, stables and the park have been made according the baroque style and it today a unique piece of architecture in Denmark.

Lerchenborg Castle is baroque style from the outside - but the inside is characterized by the later rococo period. In the main building most rooms face the garden. Today, Lerchenborg Castle is owned by and occupied by Christian count Lerche-Lerchenborg and Amalie countess Lerche-Lerchenborg.
