Sinatur Skarrildhus comprises 79 rooms and 10 meeting facilities. Free wireless internet access in all rooms and meeting rooms.
For meetings and conferences we open our kitchen at Sinatur Skarrildhus. In our cooking we value a high quality and therefore we use ecological products. Please let us know if you have any special requests for diet food - we normally can fulfil your requests. A la carte restaurant is not present, however, by making a reservation for lunch or dinner in due time we normally can meet your wish. We shall be happy to prepare you a picnic lunch or a barbeque (larger gatherings).

Fishing: At Sinatur Skarrildhus you can fish as Sinatur Skarrildhus is situated in the beautiful surroundings by Skjern Creek. Moreover, Karstoft Creek is running directly through the park of Skarrildhus. You can fish for salmon, trout and grayling. In the period between April 16th and September 14th you get a free fishing card when staying at Skarrildhus. We have a place where you can clean your fish and we offer to freeze your catch until you depart.
Forest: Sinatur Skarrildhus has its own 500 ha natural surroundings consisting of forest, moorland and meadows. In the forest different team building activities can be arranged. Also, the moorland can be used for activities such as archery, axe throwing, horse back riding or off road driving.
Park/garden: Sinatur Skarrildhus has its own large park in beautiful surroundings.
Patio: At Sinatur Skarrildhus you will find garden furniture for your convenience. Relax, sit down and enjoy the nature and maybe a cup of coffee.
Running tracks: The surroundings at Sinatur Skarrildhus invite you for a lovely run. Plan your own trip and explore the surroundings while exercising or use the premarked running tracks.
Walking tracks: At Sinatur Skarrildhus you will find beautiful walking tracks. You will find forest, moorland, meadows and a creek.
Water (sea, lakes etc.): Sinatur Skarrildhus is situated close to Skjern Creek. Moreover, Karstoft Creek is running directly through the park of Sinatur Skarrildhus. I the summer period a canoe trip can be arranged on the creeks.

Sinatur Skarrildhus dates back to 1840, where a farm house - Skavegaard was placed in the area. The farm house was bought by Nis Clason who created Clasonsborg garment factory. This factory made woollen fabrics - primarily socks and gloves. For running the machines they used water power created from the Karstoft Creek. In 1893 the factory was taken over by Janus Schmidt who instead created a production of stationery. This production stopped in 1913.

In 1920 Frederik Lausen built a summer residence consisting of a Manor House and two wings. Later, also farm buildings, forest, meadow and farm land became part of the residence.

Today, Sinatur Skarrildhus is run as a professional hotel- and conference centre.
