Timeouting A/S was started in 2005 by Malene Tamstrup Kolind. Our vision is to design business meetings, conferences and other celebrations for companies who wish to use castles and manor houses in Denmark as a meeting place in inspiring surroundings.We organize your meeting FREE OF CHARGE as we are paid by the castles and manor houses who offer unique surroundings, facilities for meetings and conferences as well as overnight accommodation. Timeouting A/S bases its concept on the need for everyone to take a time-out once in a while. Often daily life can be rather hectic as well in private life as in working life. By hesitating, being inspired and planning a little a head in life you might get on top of the world again.
No other place than beautiful castles, manor houses & country houses in Denmark it is better to take a time-out. A castle and a manor house give you an original inspiration from the past and unique adventures. Often it is from the past that we can collect pieces and in a creative way combine things and creating new exiting pads for our life - privately as well as in working life.
Denmark is an old monarchy - actually the oldest in the world. Due to our many years of monarchy a lot of buildings have emerged during time e.g. castles and manor houses which we today treasure. Being part of our culture we try to protect our castles and manor houses e.g. by using the places in our daily life in order to create the financing for maintaining the buildings. This is one of the major reasons why more and more castles and manor houses open up their doors for all of us to enjoy these beautiful places.
Timeouting A/S creates an overview of castles, manor houses & country houses in Denmark, where you can stay, attain meetings, conferences, parties and celebrate other special occasions.
We strive to make it easy for you to plan your adventure and to be able to book in the least expensive way. We grant you a price guarantee. If you are able to book the castle or manor house in a less expensive way, please inform us and we shall compensate the difference compared to your booking on our system (read more: see our legal aspects - price guarantee.).
You can expect a royal treatment - be the "owner" of a castle or manor house for a short period. Take an active part in the adventure and you will feel the sincerity and personality on the place that you visit.

Timeouting A/S is registered by the Danish association of companies (Erhvervs- og selskabsstyrelsen) by the SE-number of 28 65 38 83. Timeouting A/S works as an independent selling company working contractually for the independent castles, manor houses & country houses which are represented on TIMEOUTING.COM®.

We reserve the rights to change the below mentioned conditions. When you book on TIMEOUTING.COM® you accept the conditions valid on the time of booking i.e. our conditions of sales, cancellation rules and our policies as to security of payment, price guarantee and personal information.

TIMEOUTING.COM® is a mean for information and booking of the named castles, manor houses and country houses in Denmark. The stay takes place on the chosen castle, manor house or country house that is responsible for delivering the agreed product. The chosen castle, manor house or country house works independently and Timeouting A/S cannot be hold responsible for actions which Timeouting A/S cannot control. The stay is on own risk and responsibility.
When your booking has been confirmed by Timeouting A/S and accepted by you as the customer, the total amount will be charged on your credit card, or an invoice will be sent for your bank transfer. The booking is only final when the total amount has been paid. The total amount comprise price per unit (days, rooms, persons) multiplied by number of units. The amount includes 25% VAT according to Danish law. We put your attention to our cancellation rules in case you need to change the booking after payment (see below).
The payment on TIMEOUTING.COM® is for the agreed product. Extra consumption which you need during your stay should be settled directly with the chosen castle, manor house or country house.

We reserve the rights to change possible printing errors on TIMEOUTING.COM®. When a printing error is found it shall of course be corrected immediately.
Other rules are according to Danish law.

The booked product can be cancelled with full refund up to 2 months before planned arrival.
In case of cancellation less than 2 months before planned arrival a cancellation fee of 40% of the paid price will be charged i.e. a refund of 60% of the paid amount will be granted.
In case of cancellation less than 1 month before planned arrival a cancellation fee of 75% of the paid price will be charged i.e. a refund of 25% of the paid amount will be granted.
In case of cancellation less than 48 hours before planned arrival a cancellation fee of 100% of the paid price will be charged i.e. no refund of the paid amount will be granted.
However, when cancelling up to 10% of the number of persons participating until 48 hours before arrival a full refund of the cancelled persons will be granted. When planned arrival is in weekends or on bank holidays the cancellation needs to take place at latest 10 am on the previous working day. By later cancellation no refund will be granted.
A cancellation should always be in writing (letter, fax, e-mail). A cancellation concerns total cancellation, reduction of number of persons, shorting time of stay or other changes compared to the booked product. If the capacity can be sold for another customer, the cancellation fee can be reduced or declined.

Payment by credit card will take place on a safe online payment spot by SSL-cryptic.
Payment by credit card takes place via QuickPay and a payment solution approved by PBS (Danish banks association of payment services). QuickPay uses SSL-cryptic when communicating with PBS. SSL-cryptic is also used in the communication between you as our customer and the server, where QuickPay is situated. This means that all information flow concerning payment which is transferred via internet has been cryptic with a security certificate. In this way no other third person or Timeouting A/S can attain the confidential information about your credit card.

Our price guarantee includes prepaid bookings on TIMEOUTING.COM®. We guarantee that the booking cannot be found cheaper elsewhere. If you find a cheaper price on the same dates and the same conditions on the chosen place we grant you the difference in price as compensation. The difference in price will be refunded in the same way as you paid for your product i.e. by credit card or bank transfer.
We offer a meeting design FREE OF CHARGE, as we are paid by the castles and manor houses in Denmark with whom we work. A meeting design involves more alternative presentations of meeting place, overnight accommodation, food and activity according to your briefing. You just make one phone call (or send one email) and you will receive at feedback with more options. Your meeting is planned at the same price as if you contact a castle or manor house directly.

All personal information which you give when using TIMEOUTING.COM® will be treated with confidentiality. However, name, address and phone number shall be forwarded to the chosen castle, manor house or country house in order to maintain your booking and facilitate your check-in. If you have accepted to receive our newsletters you will receive newsletter with inspiration and news on a regularly basis. You can at any time cancel your request for newsletters and we will stop sending these.
