Jomfruens Egede is a manor house hotel with an attitude towards the way we consume. Here you will eat and drink ecological or biodynamic products - moreover you will find the first Danish ecological cocktail bar.

At Jomfruens Egede you will find 17 rooms with a view to fields, meadows and forests. 2 of the rooms are with own bath/toilet and the occupants of the remaining 15 rooms need to share 5 bath/toilets in the hall. In all rooms you will find a nice white bathing robe at your disposal. Comfort and a good night's sleep are the key words when you need to sleep away from home. At Jomfruens Egede you will find the most comfortable duvets and pillows from Geismars.

Dining at Jomfruens Egede is a unique experience. In all matters ecological or biodynamical products are used. The competent Chef at Jomfruens Egede is Pia Prehn. The history of Jomfruens Egede can be dated back to 1346 where it was named Egedegaard and owned by Uffe Pedersen Neb, one of the supporters behind King Valdemar Atterdag. The current name comes from the noble virgins Ermegaard and Birgitte Bille who inherited the land after their father. Since then a long and exiting history has taken place and today Jomfruens Egede represent Danish art and architecture. The place is owned by Joachim greve Moltke.
